Cummins QSK60, QSK60 engine maintenance, QSK60 service schedule, QSK60 oil filter service, QSK60 overhaul interval
General Maintenance Principle
The Cummins QSK60 engine adopts a dual maintenance standard based on operating hours and calendar time. Service work shall be performed whichever interval comes first.
Once any maintenance interval is reached, all previous scheduled inspection and service items must be completed in full. Do not skip or simplify any maintenance procedures.
The QSK60 engine is available with six factory optional oil filtration systems. The service routine must follow the exact maintenance procedure corresponding to the actual filter configuration installed on the engine.
Six Optional Oil Filter Configurations for QSK60
- Spin-on oil filter, without centrifuge and without Centinel™
- Spin-on oil filter, with centrifuge, without Centinel™
- Spin-on oil filter, no centrifuge, with Centinel™
